Flo Gardner joined Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia as Executive Director in December 2017 after spending three years on the board and over 10 years as a singer.  Flo came to Mendelssohn Club from the Nonprofit Finance Fund where she managed and improved the consulting team’s ability to document and gain business insights from the financial and program outcomes of their work. Previously, she spent eight years in business development and fundraising at DataArts (formerly the Cultural Data Project) helping transform the organization from a program of the Pew Charitable Trusts to an independent 501(c)3. Prior to joining Data Arts, she served as senior program associate at the Pew Center for Arts and Heritage for the Philadelphia Cultural Management Initiative and the Philadelphia Theatre Initiative. She also launched and co-owned the award-winning food truck Foolish Waffles.
