A Brand-New Name, The Same Beloved Tradition

For 15 years, our signature fundraiser has brought the Mendelssohn Chorus community together for an evening of music, friendship, and generosity. This year, we're giving it a new name — one that feels a little more like us: FELIX FEST! We've been singing in Felix Mendelssohn's honor for 153 years now, so we figure it's time we get on a first-name basis!

The spirit stays the same — join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music, connection, and community as we celebrate Mendelssohn Chorus's 153rd Season and look ahead to the future.

This isn’t your typical fundraiser. 

FELIX FEST! features performances by Mendelssohn Chorus members throughout the historic rooms of the Oaks Cloister. Chorus members perform whatever moves them: stirring barbershop quartets, powerful spoken-word poetry, head-banging guitar riffs, and everything in between. Wander from room-to-room and discover something new around every corner.

You'll also have the chance to meet movers and shakers in the Philadelphia community, chat one-on-one with MCP Artistic Director Dominick DiOrio, bid on beautiful and unique items in our Silent Auction, and try your luck with our Wine Pull — all benefiting Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia.
