Born and raised in Hong Kong and currently based in Philadelphia, Adrian Wong is a composer whose music draws on empathy, community, and connection, exploring both generation-defining issues like the climate crisis and the small, human details of everyday life.

Adrian's music has been performed internationally, from Hong Kong City Hall to London's St. Martin-in-the-Fields, and his choral works have featured in the World Choir Games and concerts across Europe and Asia. The Diocesan Choral Society's 2025 World Choral Championship win, centered on his piece 武藝 – Martial Arts, was named one of Radio Television Hong Kong's Top 10 Music Headlines of 2025. His commissions include the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Curtis Institute of Music, and the University of Michigan Concert Band, among many others, and his music has been performed by ensembles such as Alarm Will Sound, Hub New Music, and the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble.

A Curtis Institute of Music graduate, Adrian received his M.M. as the Milton L. Rock Composition Fellow and holds a B.M. with Highest Honors from the University of Michigan. He currently serves as Coordinator for Community Partnerships and on the Musical Studies faculty at Curtis, and continues to compose, teach, and champion new music.
